Republic of Indonesia is the largest country in Southeast Asia, which is crossed by the equator and located between Asia and Australia and between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Indonesia, which supposedly was formerly the lost continent of Atlantis is the largest archipelago in the world which consists of 13 466 islands. With a population of around 260 million people in 2013, Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world and the largest Muslim country in the world, some 230 million even though officially not an Islamic state.
From Sabang to Merauke, Indonesia consists of various ethnic, language, and religion. Based on the diversity of the nation (race), Indonesia's national motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" ("Unity in Diversity"), has a meaning of the diversity that shapes the country. Besides having a dense population and vast territory, Indonesia has a natural area that supports the level of biodiversity in the world's second largest.
Regional culture reflected in various aspects of community life in all regions in Indonesia. Each region have the characteristic of different cultures such as traditional house, building, traditional ceremony, Dance, Song, Music, Art, Drawing, Sculpture, Traditional Outfits, Voice Arts, Literary Arts, and the The food.
With the advantages of cultural diversity, Indonesia Tourism has become much more value are rarely owned by other countries.
